Rypäleet tulevat  Duménilin, samppanjan viljelijä-tuottajan viidennessä sukupolvessa, omilta palstoilta kolmesta Montagne de Reimsin alueen pohjoisrinteen 1er Cru kylästä Chigny-les-Roses, Rilly-la-Montagne ja Ludes.

”The 2008 vintage was especially memorable for us. We began the harvest by picking the Chardonnay, something that is almost unheard of, but the tiny yields meant that Chardonnay was very advanced. The juice was incredibly rich and concentrated yet still retained excellent acidity.
The dominant proportion of Chardonnay in all Duménil vintage champagnes gives them almost eternal youth.”
