Rich and complex terroir. Parcels divided into three types of soils (sand, gravels, and clay-limestone).

Varietals

Grenache Noir 80%, 20% Syrah.

Winemaking and ageing

Ageing in French oak barriques for 9 months.  The palate displays the pure expression of a unique terroir with silky and smooth tannins. Still young, so depending on palate preferences,  It can be drunk now, or aged for 10 years in the cellar as the robe turns ruby and aromas of red fruits, leather and underbrush will continue to develop.

Matteo Giovanetti was the official painter of Pope Clement VI, the Pictor Pape. He decorated the Palais des Papes in Avignon between 1344 and 1347.
